RFS 2023 is intended for commercial airlines intending to train their pilots. RFS 2023 can be used in a simulator-box environment, and is the closest you can possibly get to a real airplane. RFS 2023 can also load pre-created flight plans, making it useful for crash investigation/recreation.

The RFS 2023 Essentials Pack adds another 1400 aircraft and 25,000 airports, making things as realistic as they possibly could be. Be aware, though, that you will need to have another 15GB of free space on your hard drive in addition to how much you already had to have free from the start. NOTE: This is NOT a standalone edition. You must already have either Standard or Commercial installed to add Essentials.
